4Networking boss in "dance off"

By Rebecca Burn-Callander, published 243 days ago in Archive.

Brad Burton is the king of networking. His national business network boasts over 18,500 members and promises an unusual mix of professional chitchat and social silliness. How better to illustrate the latter than a "dance off" spoof video to recruit new members?

Brad Burton can do no wrong these days. His baby, 4Networking, is the largest joined up business network in Britain with upwards of 100 events taking place every week up and down the country. But Burton's not a man to rest on his laurels. Oh no. Not only is the "Liam Gallagher of business" full-time MD of 4Networking, he's also found time to write a book, and take up a new hobby: breakdancing.

Real Business just had to share this sneak peek video with you. The full length dance-off is due to be released on Friday and we're already giggling in anticipation. As virals go, this is a corker.

Check it out below.

He might be the "king of networking" but how can 4Networking expect real business to be done when there is this sort of frivolity going on. I also note with interest that Mr Burton does not wear a tie or suit, if you understand me.

Brad has yet again shown the true skill of marketing that not only helps 4N to develop, but also helps all the businesses that are sensible to be involved with 4N.

Long may Mr Burton dance the dance...

Having fun at a business networking event? Isn't that illegal?

You know what boys and girls, the business benefits far out live and outlast the embarrasment of videos like this. You try doing a backspin with a Armani Summer Suit on! Be different in business, because different works, different travels.

My business was built on this network... but no one ever taught me moves like that!

"Day 24 in the Big Burton House.... Davina has challenged the housemates to a dance off....." Once again, Brad Burton further proving that networking IS working, and that work doesn't have to be white collars and espresso...

That's just ridiculous; how can a bloke with no rhythm be in a dance contest? 4Networking needs to change it's strapline to: 33.3% business, 33.3% social and 33.3% clubbing

Whats worse is that he doesn't have any cufflinks on his shirt - a disgrace in the business world!

The king of networking strikes again, this video goes along way to summing up the 4Networking experience... fun, friendly (maybe too friendly in this case :-) attention grabbing and definately working for your business. I've not found a business network as useful, effective and fun as 4N. and because of that I forgive the now famous 'Water Bottle' incident!

Phil, I am completely with you on this. I would also like to know which of the professions this king of networking is from? I wouldn't be at all surprised if he didn't turn out to be from the trades!

Perhaps Mr Thomas, would like to sort this out on the dance floor. Where I'd like my feet do the talking.
