When Emma Bridgewater couldn’t find a suitable set of cups and saucers as a gift for her mother, she decided to make her own.
Today, she runs the eponymous £14m-turnover firm, based in Stoke-on-Trent, with her husband Matthew Rice. This quirky Diamond Jubilee crown-lidded dish will be a talking point at dinner parties.
