Katharine Hibbert's presentation at the Investec Entrepreneurs' Summit shows us how much change a new business model can bring to London's real estate market.
"We have a sustainable business model with the potential to grow." Katharine Hibbert knows that social entrepreneurs can bring real change to those who need it the most, while growing a sustainable business.
Hibbert founded Dot Dot Dot Property, a social enterprise working to bring empty properties into use for everyone’s benefit – owners, communities and property guardians -by placing individuals who do voluntary work in houses that would otherwise be vacant.
"There's real potential for growth here. When we talk about social entrepreneurs we should talk about who are the social customers who are going to buy into the social value that we social entrepreneurs are trying to sell," she says at last week's Investec Entrepreneurs' Summit.
