Developed particularly for young businesses outside of London, a new exhibition is opening its doors in March.

14 business owners from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire put their heads together over the past months to prepare plans for a large-scale exhibition for international and national businesses outside of the NEC and London. This week they announced the official plans for the Business Expo 3.0.

The event will bring together thought-leading and innovative businesses that understand how to embrace the changing business landscape, 'via technology and the ever changing world wide web,' the organisers say.

“Businesses throughout the UK are being encouraged to trade internationally to reduce the impact of national economic fluctuations. This one-day conference is designed to help bridge the knowledge gap between being advised to look for business further afield, knowing how to do it and the implications directors need to be aware of,” explained Victoria Beale, the main organiser and brain behind the event idea.

“We believe it’s the first of its kind and it’s certainly the first time anything like this has been hosted outside the established venues in London and Birmingham.”

Doors will open on 8 March 2013 at StadiumMK in Milton Keynes. For businesses outside of London, this event sounds inviting. The team are expecting 150 exhibitors and about 1,000 delegates.

Keynote-speakers and workshops will be held alongside the exhibition. Themes include bridging the gap between universities, research and business opportunities; funding business expansion at home and overseas; and an update on the rapidly changing social media, online community landscape.

If you're a young, growing business around the Milton Keynes area, save the date.
