Brother upgrades its colour inkjet range

by Brother - Friday, 7th March 2008 -

Home office technology specialist, Brother, has redesigned its colour inkjet machines, launching a new range.

Having already established a reputation for high quality inkjet printing, Brother has focussed firmly on design for the new range and all models are sleek, stylish and compact; providing customers with head office printing technology in the home office.

The collection comprises ten multi-function machines that feature print, scan and copy functions; all are available with or without fax. Prices start from £49.99 for the DCP-135C without fax function and £69.99 for the MFC-235C with fax.

Ideal for home and home office users, Brother’s new inkjet range has a number of innovative design features that make them discrete and unobtrusive, with the smallest possible footprint.

• Paper is fed through from a tray located underneath the machine, removing the need for an external tray and reducing the virtual footprint. In addition, all cables fit inside or parallel to the machines, allowing them to fit flush against a wall or any other surface and saving even more space.

• As with all Brother inkjets, the new range uses individual ink cartridges, reducing waste by allowing colours to be replaced one at a time as they run out. These are accessed from the front of the machine, putting an end to time spent fiddling with awkwardly placed cartridges.

• Continuing Brother’s commitment to providing value for its customers, the new inkjet range features the cheapest wireless machine on the market (the DCP-770CW) and one of the cheapest models on the market with PictBridge (DCP-135) – allowing users to print direct from their digital cameras.

• Other notable features include Brother’s unique wide LCD screen (available on DCP-770CW, MFC-680CN and MFC-885CW and one year on-site warranty as standard (upon registration).

Features such as these, coupled with impressive print speeds (up to 30 mono/25 colour ppm) and proven reliability, make this new Brother inkjet range a strong contender in a market sector that continues to grow.
