FD watch – Peter Sydney-Smith
Peter Sydney-Smith is to be appointed finance director of pan-African resources company Mwana Africa.
He previously held the role of FD of mining group Nikanor and will officially start in his new position on 1 June 2008.
Sydney-Smith replaces the late David Fish, who was one of the founders of the company.
