The Future 50 lists Britain's most innovative, creative and disruptive young brands.

Real Business and Red Bull set out to find these bright young things in June this year – and boy, did we find some great companies.

To decide on who should make the final cut, we signed up five judges: Mark Pearson of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk; investor and co-founder of MessageLabs Jos White; Madeleine Milne of eMusic; Al Gosling, CEO of The Extreme Sports Company; and Nigel Trood, MD of Red Bull UK.

The judges picked the 50 most exciting, ground-breaking firms in Britain today – view the full list of winners here – but ten firms in particular stood out.

We'll be opening votes for the public at 9am on Monday October 3 – the public will be able to vote for their favourite company, who will be crowned with the Future 50 People's Choice award. Be sure to encourage your staff, colleagues, friends and customers to vote!

In the meantime, here are the judges' ten special picks.
