How do you make a good first impression?
How do you make a lasting impression? What are your tips for making a good impression when meeting customers, clients and competitors?
Dell is running a campaign called Trade Secrets, hosted on the Dell SMB Facebook page, calling on business bods to share their ideas and best practices with their fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The first topic up for discussion is “making a good first impression when launching a new venture”. To be honest, we didn’t have to look very far for inspiration – our very own networker extraordinaire Heather Townsend is a font of knowledge when it comes to the dos and don’ts of making the right impression.
She’s given Real Business readers plenty of invaluable advice, ranging from perfecting your handshake to practising proper business-card etiquette and much more.
Now we want to hear your pearls of wisdom – what’s your sure-fire method for making a good first impression? Leave a comment below, visit the Dell SMB Facebook page or Tweet (using the #tradesecrets hashtag) to share your top tips.
