Former England cricketer turned entrepreneur Phil Edmonds is reportedly planning to list his company African Medical Investments on the Alternative Investment Market.
CityA.M. reports that the company, which will acquire healthcare businesses across Africa, is understood to have raised around £5m and will have a market value of £5.6m.
Edmonds, who has been described as having a talent for making money and trouble, embarked on a career in business after his cricketing days, founding Southern African Resources, now African Platinum, and Middlesex Holdings.
He is also chairman of Central African Mining and Exploration Company.
