Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK), a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to improve the economic climate for entrepreneurs across Britain, has unveiled the first of its 100 UK companies which it believes will reach £100m in revenue within three to five years.

The so-called “100 Club” has been handpicked by SVC2UK experts via a multi-selection process, and consists of CEOs likely to build global businesses worth £100m in the next three to five years.

The selection panel was a veritable Who’s-Who of investors and enterprise experts such as Amadeus Capital’s Hermann Hauser, Index Ventures’ Saul Klein, Spotify’s Shakhil Khan and many others, including, of course, SVC2UK co-chair Sherry Coutu herself.

SVC2UK has, over the last week, held workshops, masterclasses and lectures to debate today’s most disruptive technologies. The new “100 Club” entrepreneurs were also invited to attend a CEO Summit at the end of last week, where they were given advice by serial entrepreneurs and investors on how they could scale their businesses.
