With economists forecasting that unemployment could soar to 3.3 million next year, Seetec has its work cut out for it. Good thing it’s geared up for the challenge. Seetec has more than 20 years’ worth of experience in employment, training and computer services; offices spanning Hockley in Essex (its HQ), Cannock, Lowestoft, Chesterfield and Yeovil; a national network of employment and learning centres; and close relationships with government departments (Seetec has contracts with the government’s New Deal and Welfare to Work programmes), colleges, schools, voluntary organisations and employers. And the figures are solid, too: turnover exploded from £1.463m in 2005, to £16.837m in 2008, with pre-tax profit of £2.381m.
