NCS Group’s ethos is to: “take complete control of the customer’s office technology, allowing them to concentrate on their core business. Put simply we take care of business”. And it certainly has done since its formation in July 1998: NCS Group’s sales have grown to a staggering £30m in the year to February 2008, a 26 per cent year-on-year growth from 2007. Pre-tax profits were relatively modest at £2.04m, but the company’s three directors shared £3.1m in salaries and pension emoluments. The company also has a very healthy £7m in the bank for a rainy day – useful in these harsh economic conditions. Among their impressive list of business partners are Ericsson, Panasonic, Toshiba, Cisco, BT, Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba and Microsoft. Employing over 200 people, NCS Group is headquartered in Glasgow, but its offices span the country.
