Slater Investments is a fund-management company managing UK equity portfolios for several FTSE 100 pension schemes and other large corporate pension funds; portfolios for high net worth individuals; three unit trusts; and a hedge fund. In 2008, while the going was good, Slater Investments turned over £5.1m, with pre-tax profits of £3.3m – and director Mark Slater paid himself a dividend of £844,000.
