Here’s a recruitment company with a refreshing approach to recruiting its own staff. At Hampshire-based Fusion People, “all employees are invited to take up an equity stake in the business, giving everyone a direct share in the performance of the company”. With more than 200 employees, a customer base of over 600 organisations, six contact offices in the UK and two in Australia, it’s obvious this unique strategy is working. And if that’s not evidence enough, the five-year-old company achieved sales of £34m in 2008, on which it made pre-tax profits of £428,200, and Fusion People claims that turnover will pass the £40m this year.
