Rockspring Property Holdings, based in fashionable Sloane Street in London, is a holding company for a trading group whose principal subsidiaries include third-party asset managers and companies providing investment and real estate services to affiliated companies. These subsidiaries are to be found in places like Jersey, Hungary, Belgium and Luxembourg, although some of these ventures are now dormant. The group employs 64 people and saw turnover rise an annual 61 per cent to £25m last year, compared with £5.9m in 2005. Pre-tax profits also jumped to £2m last year. Rockspring’s annual report indicates that the company takes its social responsibilities seriously, stating: “It has been Rockspring’s custom to combine our investors’ financial objectives with their social and environmental concern and, over the past year, there has been a marked increase in support and participation of staff-assisted charity events.”
