BuyingTeam delivers procurement savings and cost management to UK and European companies and guides clients’ indirect purchasing so they can concentrate on their core activities. Founded in 1994 by Matthew Eatough and David Graham, it now has 130 employees with offices in London, Leeds, Brussels and Hanover. The company’s well-established client list includes FTSE 100 companies such as British Airways, MAN Group, Siemens, Universal Music and Welcome Break. BuyingTeam is expanding rapidly: turnover for 2008 was up 46 per cent from 2007, with an increased headcount of 21 per cent. Sales in 2008 hit £8.1m. It is also expanding globally, with 400 sourcing activities in Europe and the US in the past six months.
