Evans Randall is a privately owned investment banking and private equity group specialising in structure finance, private equity and commercial real estate transactions. Since its formation in September 1993 by managing director Michael Evans, the group has advised on or arranged $35bn of transactions on behalf of both private investors and international corporate clients. The company is wholly owned by Evans and his family. Since 2005, Evans Randall has acquired around £5bn worth of UK and European property investments on behalf of itself and clients. Major acquisitions include: Bank of America’s HQ at Canada Square for £452m; Swiss Re’s HQ building at the Gherkin for £615m; The Financial Services Authority HQ at Canary Wharf for £205m; and MAN Group’s new HQ building to be developed on Swan Lane for £300m.
