AVM supplies, installs and maintains audiovisual equipment for some of Britain’s biggest blue-chip companies, such as BP, Universal Music and BT. Founded in 1990, the company has grown to a turnover of just under £10m, three offices (including one in the City of London) and 130 staff members. Sales have soared by 60 per cent in the past four years, thanks to a string of acquisitions and partnerships with overseas businesses. “We have partnered with outstanding companies that have the skills and reputation our customers want,” says Sandy MacPherson, AVM chairman. “Through them, we now have a presence in Ireland, France, Spain, Italy and China.
