In at number 90 is The Bank, a very creative agency that uses a range of different media to get its clients’ messages across. It does film production, animation, live event management and graphic design under one roof. “We can be faster that way, and it helps us deliver the best results,” says Rob Boughton, one of the founders.
“We don’t tie ourselves to one media, although we’re strong believers in ‘punter art’; in other words, the message must appeal to the man on the street, not just the managers who commission us.”
Turnover topped £15m last year, but challenging economic conditions will deflate this year’s total slightly. “The economy is going to be quite challenging. At the moment, we’re moving along fine, but we can see warning signs around us,” Boughton adds.
