E-recruitment agency SmartSourcing finds freelancers and permanent staff for more than 100 clients in the public sector, corporate and SME markets. Big-name customers include Direct Line, easyJet and Lastminute.com, but the firm also provides a white label service for in-house recruitment, dealing with applications and assessing candidates on behalf of blue chips.
SmartSourcing can undercut high street agencies by up to 50 per cent. Managing director John Adlington founded the company in 2002 and the management team has a combined 25 years’ experience in the industry.
This is its second year in the Hot 100. The firm has achieved a compound growth of 51 per cent year on year. The focus is on fast, premium service: companies after last-minute manpower are guaranteed three quality candidates within 48 hours. Turnover hit £10.5m last year, up from £3m in 2004.
