If authors such as William Shakespeare, Lee Child and J.K. Rowling can’t meet your needs when it comes to novels, you may be pleased to know an Apple photo book is now available.
And true to form, the “Designed by Apple in California” publication comes with a price tag almost as high as its top-end gadgets.
Indeed, a small 10.20-inch x 12.75-inch copy will cost £169, but for devout Apple worshippers, the large Apple photo book in 13-inch x 16.25-inch glory is priced at £249.
For clarity, an Apple Watch can be snapped up from Apple at prices from £269 and an iPad from £549.
Truly, it doesn’t get more Business Class than a business book priced at such a premium.[rb_inline_related]
The Apple photo book covers two decades of design at the company, which is detailed with some 450 images of Apple products – expect to find the past and present within, from the iMac to the Apple Pencil.
Designed by Apple in California is a tribute to the company’s founding father Steve Jobs – a man who has left an incredible legacy behind.
Photographer Andrew Zuckerman is responsible for the images, which include finished goods and the design process behind them.
Jony Ive, Apple’s chief design officer, said: “The idea of genuinely trying to make something great for humanity was Steve’s motivation from the beginning, and it remains both our ideal and our goal as Apple looks to the future.
“This archive is intended to be a gentle gathering of many of the products the team has designed over the years. We hope it brings some understanding to how and why they exist, while serving as a resource for students of all design disciplines.”
The Apple photo book will be available from Wednesday 16 November, with sales exclusively from Apple.com and selected Apple stores across the UK, US, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
