The Apple photo book covers two decades of design at the company, which is detailed with some 450 images of Apple products – expect to find the past and present within, from the iMac to the Apple Pencil. Designed by Apple in California is a tribute to the company’s founding father Steve Jobs – a man who has left an incredible legacy behind.“While this is a design book, it is not about the design team, the creative process, or product development” Photographer Andrew Zuckerman is responsible for the images, which include finished goods and the design process behind them. Jony Ive, Apple’s chief design officer, said: “The idea of genuinely trying to make something great for humanity was Steve’s motivation from the beginning, and it remains both our ideal and our goal as Apple looks to the future. “This archive is intended to be a gentle gathering of many of the products the team has designed over the years. We hope it brings some understanding to how and why they exist, while serving as a resource for students of all design disciplines.” The Apple photo book will be available from Wednesday 16 November, with sales exclusively from Apple.com and selected Apple stores across the UK, US, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
