All of the new recruits bring totally different strengths and experiences to the table, and I am hoping they’ll form a really complimentary team. Fingers crossed our two-year expansion plan will really work and we can, indeed, make this company bigger and better than it has ever been.
Meanwhile, my attitude to shop-floor troubles is getting increasingly cavalier. Staff in that departmnent must either come on board and deliver, or they go. No more chances.
In the office, two-and-a-half weeks of training still stretch out in front of me. Not sure how I’ll find the time to run the company in between, but I shall rise above that!
