Audi dealership shifts luxury up a gear with in-showroom beauty salon

Seemingly on a mission to make consumers feel as luxurious as the vehicles they intend on buying with a Business Class experience, an Audi dealership has opened up a beauty salon.

The facilities were built as the Poole branch plans on “raising the bar in terms of customer satisfaction”, with the relocation of the site sparking the idea for the MD’s opening of the Schon – Beauty & Relaxation at Poole Audi.

According to the website, customers should expect to “relax, refresh and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul”. Free 15-minute taster sessions for manicure, facial, a variety of massages and eyebrow shapes while cars are being serviced.

Alternatively, for those who feel particularly stressed out, they can pay for treatments – for example, splashing out for an £85 full body massage.

And to get interest of locals, a Mother’s Day competition was launched to invite customers to upload a selfie with their mum for the chance to win free treatment for an hour.

David Kelly, MD of Audi dealership Ocean Automotive, said: “When I first decided to relocate the Poole Audi showroom and workshop, I wanted something really special for our customers. Just imagine if we could offer a therapeutic massage, manicure or professional shave while one’s car is being serviced?”

Ocean worked with K&K Interiors and Trend Transformations to get the renovation completed, with an eye mosaic one of the constructs added to the Audi dealership’s salon.

K&K’s Keeley Fox recalled: “David virtually gave us carte blanche on the design and we felt we could be bold enough to specify the eye design, knowing that TREND Transformations would be able to carry our brief to not only fruition but to a very high standard.

“The whole salon is beautifully stylish but the mosaic eye really is the winning feature. The team at TREND Transformations did not disappoint and we are over the moon with the result and so is our client.”
