National Geographic Channel (NGC) has announced a two-year TV series documenting the development of Virgin Galactic’s spaceship, VSS Enterprise, which will start airing this spring. Branson’s first spaceship was recently launched in the Mojave Desert in Arizona, and will feature in NGC’s first episode. Over a two year, four-part series, viewers will follow Virgin Galactic’s first passengers, which will include legendary aerospace engineer Burt Rutan, as well as Branson and family. “This series represents what we are all about – historic drama and adventure,” said Steve Burns, NGC’s executive vice president of content. “We are honoured to provide people with a window into the historic work of the incredible team at Virgin Galactic.” Related articles:Branson moves into bankingRichard Branson launches new ventureBranson’s space programme hits a snag Picture source
