There was little in the Budget for entrepreneurs and small businesses. The few measures included a continuation of the tax bill deferral and additional support with a top up trade credit insurance scheme. Darling also announced £2.5bn for businesses to invest in industries such as advanced manufacturing, creative industries and low-carbon economies.
