Business Growth Plan: Don’t ever be satisfied

1 Mins

Over a three-week period, we are publishing daily tips from Britain’s fastest-growing companies on how to grow your business.

To see your business grow exponentially, you need to “live in a perpetual state of dissatisfaction,” says Wonga.com’s founder Errol Damelin.

Not letting yourself be satisfied forces your business to constantly improve its service.

“Within six months of launching our same-day lending service, we launched a same-hour service,” he explains.

“Today we offer loans within 15 minutes of receiving a valid application. And now I’m working on getting it down to a second…”

The lesson is that if you have unreasonable expectations, your team will surpass itself. Don’t ever be satisfied with what you’ve got. Push yourself.
