It’s not just us humans that enjoy the occasional bit of R&R. Indeed, the Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Group has built an entire business dedicated to delivering opulence for felines.
Established in 2010, the business opened to offer an alternative to what founder Abi Purser considered a “poor standard of accommodation and care offered across the UK”.
The opening of the latest Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel will take place in London suburb Norbury, marking what will be the 15th venue as the franchise-based business continues to achieve scale.
Headquartered in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, other cat hotel sites can be found in counties including Kent, Sussex, Merseyside, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Bedfordshire.
The new custom-built five-star cat hotel comes with six suites with climate controlled rooms and private gardens for safe play. Longcroft claims that it partners customers throughout the accommodation process to ensure all “guests” are treated well.
New franchisee Robbie Banks will oversee the Norbury cat hotel, which is situated in the garden of his family home. He’ll keep contact with customers by sending updates and photos of their progress.
“We are so excited about opening the first Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel in South London and cannot wait to offer our guests and their owners exceptional service and loving care in our stunning hotel in a slice of leafy calm in Norbury,” Banks said.
“It’s incredibly important to allow our feline guests space to climb and exercise as well as relax. We offer an authentic home from home experience where our guests enjoy the highest level of care and attention.
“Offering the best care available to our guests. Seeing them relaxed and thriving whilst their owners are away will be so rewarding. We provide strict standards of hygiene and cleanliness, but also a high level of comfort and care in a nurturing home from home environment.”
Prices to stay at the hotel will cost from £17 to £80 a day depending on the accommodation and number of cats booked in.
Elsewhere, extras are available too, with packages such as the “Spa Day” offering full body groom, play session, room service and selection from the “A La Cat” menu.
“We officially welcome our first guests in July although the response we have already received has been overwhelming and we already have many bookings as far ahead as Christmas!” Banks added.
The grand opening of the Norbury cat hotel will take place on Saturday 22 July between 2 and 4pm – RSVP via firstname.lastname@example.org
