Still a bit dazed and knackered from Xmas dinner on Friday. I excelled myself by missing my taxi home and ended up walking through snow on side of feet to prevent myself tumbling on my high heels and breaking neck at some disgusting time in the morning.
However, contrary to expectations, was far better do than normal. It was all about people coming together rather than ripping off the boss for as many drinks as possible.
Finally caught up with Pre-Budget Report at weekend too – no-one can say I am not quick! However, cannot believe that more hasn’t been made of proposed increased in NI (both employers and employees) for July 2011. Typical politicians – leaving debris for someone else to pick up later. Upping the tax on small businesses giving people jobs – hmm, that’s really going to aid the recovery.
