Ex-Apprentice star makes cheap the new chic

The Steel Pixie has revealed to the Sunday Times that her new "Chiconomy" newsletter, due to launch in a fortnight, will target women looking to have fun without the hefty price tag.

"It’s about living stylishly for less. It’s not about compromise," she said. “Before, me and my mates would have gone to Harvey Nicks for a martini after work but, at £14 a pop, we don’t want to do that anymore.”

Chiconomy will include details of sales, giveaways, BOGOFs and discounts in salons, restaurants, shops and bars all over the UK.

With her old boss Alan Sugar scooping up shares in bargain basement brands, perhaps Dewberry, who left Amstrad after serving only 11 months under the tycoon, is looking to follow his lead and cash in on the cashless this recession.
