Nick Ning Su has been appointed chief financial officer of HaiKe Chemical. He replaces Johnson Lau, who will remain on the board. Su was most recently the financial controller at several business units of Chinese subsidiaries of Ciba Specialty Chemicals.
William Booth has resigned as chief financial officer of building systems and products group Metic. It coincides with a number of other senior management changes intended to focus on international growth and diversification. Booth has been replaced by Ken McCarthy, the company’s financial controller, on an interim basis.
Simon Henry has been appointed chief financial officer of Royal Dutch Shell. He will succeed Peter Voser on 1 May 2009. Voser will become the company’s chief executive on 1 July 2009. Henry is currently executive vice-president of finance in Shell International Exploration and Production.
Gordon Drake, currently Kingdom Hotel Investments’ finance director, has been appointed senior vice-president and chief financial officer of the company. He replaces Ghaith Shocair on 31 March 2009.
Simon Shaw has been appointed chief financial officer of Savills. Shaw replaces Mark Dearsley, who left the company on 13 February 2009. He was previously CFO of Gyrus Group, the FTSE 250 international medical devices business.Robert McDonald has been appointed finance director of leisure company Luminar. He replaces Nick Beighton, and was previously finance director of Woolworths (McDonald was appointed shortly before the group went into administration) and Punch Taverns.Jørgen C. Arentz Rostrup has been appointed chief financial officer of Hydro. Rostrup is currently head of energy and will start his new position on 1 May 2009. He replaces John Ove Ottestad, who will become adviser to the president and CEO of the company.
