Robert MacLeod has resigned as group finance director of design and engineering consultancy WS Atkins. He will leave Atkins on 19 June 2009 to join chemicals company Johnson Matthey, replacing JN Sheldrick, who is retiring. Jonathan Kipps has resigned as finance director of Oxus Gold. He has been FD since November 2002 and company secretary since January 2008. The role of the company’s FD will be split between Richard Thornton and Jyoti Chandhok. Paul Inglett has resigned as finance director of independent brewer and pub operator Marston. A successor has yet to be appointed. John Falcon has been appointed as group finance director of UBC Media. He replaces Gavin Rigby. Falcon has been a director of Segment Records for the past five years. Patrick Butcher has been appointed group finance director of Network Rail. He replaces Ron Henderson, who is retiring, on 20 April. Butcher was most recently FD at English Welsh and Scottish Railway (now DB Schenker). Henderson has been with the company since October 2002. Hitesh Gadhia has been appointed finance director of Playgolf, the developer and operator of multi-sport facilities in the UK. He has served as company secretary to a number of firms, specialising particularly in company restructuring and financial and management reporting procedures. Robert Lindsay Drummond has been appointed group finance director and company secretary of Invocas, which provides personal debt solutions. Drummond joins Invocas from HBOS where he was employed for five years in a number of senior operational finance roles, most recently as head of finance for business and payment services.
