Ann Godbehere has resigned as chief financial officer of Northern Rock. She will step down form the board on 31 January and will leave the company at the end of February. Godbehere was appointed when the bank was taken into public ownership in February 2008 for the initial phase of public ownership. Her replacement has yet to be appointed.Fraser Park has been appointed chief financial officer of mobile computing company Psion. He replaces Bill Jessup. Park was previously CFO of Oslo-listed communications technology company Tandberg Television, a position he held until its successful disposal to Ericsson. Jim Malone has resigned as chief financial officer of IT company Misys. He has been replaced on an interim basis by James Gelly, who has been a member of the Misys executive team since November 2008. David Walton has been appointed chief financial officer of paper mill operator Powerflute. Walton was most recently chief executive of API, a manufacturer of packaging materials for premium branded goods, and a company he initially joined as finance director in 2001. Brendan Dwan will retire as finance director of C&C Group in May 2009. Dwan has worked at the manufacturer, marketer and distributor of cider for the past 34 years. Stephen Glancey, the company’s chief operating officer, will assume the role of FD in addition to his current role. William McAteer has resigned as finance director and chief risk officer of Anglo Irish Bank. The bank has decided to split the roles of FD and chief risk officer. Matt Moran, currently chief financial officer, has been appointed FD designate. A formal process has commenced to appoint a new chief risk officer. Anthony Ostrowski has resigned as group finance director and company secretary of Quayle Munro Holdings. Ostrowski is retiring after 22 years with the independent merchant bank. Bongani Nqwababa has been appointed chief financial officer of Anglo Platinum. He joined the company on 1 January 2009. Peter Rugg has resigned as chief financial officer of Nviro Cleantech. Christopher Tawney has been appointed as UK-based CFO of the company, which commercialises clean technologies. Picture source
