Rakesh Patel has been appointed finance director and non-executive director for TV Commerce Holdings. Patel is also head of the corporate finance division at accountancy firm Adler Shine. Ashley Milton has beeen appointed group finance director for Tarsus, a business-to-business media group. Milton joins the company from Aegis where he was chief financial officer. Neil Jones has been appointed finance director of international exhibitions group ITE. He was previously finance director of Tarsus and replaces Russell Taylor who was acting FD for ITE following his appointment to the chief executive role in May.Alistair Mackenzie, currently finance director of The Local Radio Company, has been appointed chief operating officer for the group. Andrew Fennell has been appointed company secretary.Edward Knighton has been appointed chief financial officer of media group Entertainment Rights. Knighton left Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers in September 2008 after nearly three years as finance director. Hanif Lalani, group finance director for BT and this year’s Real FD/CBI FTSE 100 FD of the Year, has been appointed chief executive of BT Global Services. He replaces François Barrault. Meanwhile, Ray Leclercq has been appointed chief financial officer of BT Global Services, leaving his current CFO post at Openreach. A new group FD for BT will be appointed in due course.Terence Arthur Cross has resigned as finance director of Chaarat Gold Holdings. He will be replaced by Harry Marcus George Lopes from 1 January 2009. Lopes has been employed as the business development manager for Chaarat since May 2008. Tim Tookey has been appointed group finance director of Lloyds TSB. He is currently acting in the role having joined the group in 2006. David Jeffcoat has announced he will retire as finance director of Ultra at the company’s annual general meeting in April 2009. He will be replaced by Paul Dean, who was FD of Foseco from 2001 until its acquisition by Cookson in April 2008. Dean will join Ultra on 1 January 2009. Peter Voser, the chief financial officer of Royal Dutch Shell, has been appointed chief executive-elect. He will succeed Jeroen van der Veer as CEO on 1 July 2009. Voser joined the company in 1982 and has been CFO since 2004.Jonathan Slow has been appointed chief financial officer of RDF, a television production and distribution company.
