Guy Emodi has resigned as chief financial officer of Playtech. He has been replaced on an interim basis by Shuki Barak. A permanent replacement is being sought.David Simons, chief financial officer and interim chairman of facilities and energy management company GSH, has resigned. He is expected to leave the company in twelve months’ time. He had only recently been appointed to the chairman role.Colin Grant has been appointed chief financial officer of Braveheart, the technology commercialisation and investment management company. He has also taken over as company secretary from Carolyn Smith – the group’s chief investment officer. Grant joins the company from Digital Bridges where he was CFO and company secretary.
Andrew Bruce Kirby has been appointed finance director and company secretary of Rubicon Software. He joined the company as finance manager last November.Chris Hanson, the chief financial officer of Screen Technology, has been appointed chief executive of the company. Hanson has been CFO since June 2007.
William Howard Mathers has been appointed chief financial officer of Nautical Petroleum. He is the first person to hold the role; the company created the position in recognition of the substantial growth in the asset portfolio, associated multiple joint venture relationships and its anticipated future development financing requirements. Nautical Petroleum did, however, have a finance director – Hemant Thanawala – who has stepped down from the board. Mathers was previously group financial controller for International Energy.
