David Landless, Bodycote plc

2013 share performance: 49.3%

Appointed Finance Director and joined the Group in 1999. From 1989 to 1997 served as Finance Director in UK and US divisions of Courtaulds Plc. Finance Director of Courtaulds Coatings (Holdings) Limited from 1997 to 1999. A Chartered Management Accountant.

Jonathan Silver, Laird plc

2013 share performance: 32.6%

Joined Laird in 1986 and appointed to the Board as Finance Director in 1994. Previously Group Treasurer and Corporate Development Manager. Non-executive director of INVESCO Income Growth Trust plc.

Joe Lister, The Unite Group plc

2013 share performance: 43.5%

Joe joined UNITE in 2002. He was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in January 2008 having held a variety of roles within UNITE prior to that, including Investment Director. Joe is responsible for the Groups finances and investment strategy.

As Chief Financial Officer, Joe is also responsible for the Company secretarial function and Chairs the Groups Major Investment Approval meetings. Prior to joining UNITE, Joe qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers

Paul Venables, Hays plc

2013 share performance: 56.0%

A Chartered Accountant and also USA qualified, Paul started his career at Deloitte & Touche where he was a Senior Manager in its USA practice. This was followed by a 13-year career at Exel plc where he held a number of senior finance and operational roles including Deputy Group Finance Director and was a member of the Executive Board of Exel plc and Chairman of their Acquisitions and Project Review Board.

Following the acquisition of Exel plc by Deutsche Post, Paul worked in its DHL Logistics division before joining Hays. Other principal external appointments: Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Wincanton plc.

John Gibney, Britvic plc

2013 share performance: 71.9%

John Gibney was appointed Finance Director in 1999 and is responsible for finance, legal, estates, risk management and business transformation. Prior to joining Britvic, he was Senior Corporate Finance & Planning Manager for Bass PLC, and prior to that role, Finance Director and subsequently Deputy Managing Director of Gala Clubs.

Chris Houghton, Telecom Plus plc

2013 share performance: 95.8%

Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2003. Whilst there he gained experience in both their Consumer Products team and also in their Telecoms, Information, Communications, Entertainment and Energy team.

Subsequently, he worked within the Corporate Finance department, where he completed a two-year secondment at The Takeover Panel. He joined the Company in September 2008 and was appointed Finance Director in February 2009.
