Final call for disabled entrepreneurs to win £50,000

Disabled entrepreneurs across the UK have less than three weeks left to enter and win the £50,000 Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK 2010.

Stelios will present the award at the Real Business/CBI Growing Business Awards on November 25.

The annual award, run in partnership with Leonard Cheshire Disability and sponsored by easyGroup chairman Stelios, rewards those with disabilities who have demonstrated “exceptional entrepreneurial spirit in the face of significant barriers”.

Stelios comments: “This is a fantastic opportunity for those entrepreneurs with a disability who have demonstrated the creativity, passion and hard work involved in developing and growing their business.

“There are only three weeks left to apply before entries close – I urge those interested to make the most of it! Along with the recognition, the prize money of £50,000 will be a significant boost to a growing business and that business could be yours.”

Applicants must have a registered UK business with a turnover of at least £10,000 per annum, and will be judged on their business ability.

Stelios will personally present the winner with the award and a £50,000 cheque at the Growing Business Awards, held in London on November 25.

The closing date for entries is September 3 – you can find out more details on how to enter here. For more information about the Growing Business Awards or to book your ticket, visit the website.
