Back from the break. I’m aware that I should be feeling refreshed and creative. The reality is I’ve spent the weekend overdoing things.
Been preparing home for builders descent this morning and worrying about erstwhile left hand, who is now going to take on role of departed right hand and be my second in charge, and has been thoroughly depressed at prospect of return. Manage to stay super positive until I hit work itself and find letter from personal claims company bringing action against us on behalf of ex-employee. Urgh! Aware that mood descends to black gloom and is picked up by my second who, having steadied himself, tries to help and gets angry and frustrated when not able to. Neither of us should not be feeling like this on first day back!
