A whopping 82 per cent of CEOs were completely flummoxed when asked the same question, according to the Bowmark Entrepreneurs’ Index.
It’s called the Enterprise Directorate, by the way. It was renamed last summer.
Given that the Enterprise Directorate is the government’s expert policy unit on small business issues, it’s a bit worrying that entrepreneurs know nothing about it – and only three per cent think it’s going to be much help.
