The shortlist is out. Check out this year’s crop of entrepreneurial talent.
You have to feel for the entrepreneurs who have entered this year. Their business model, accounts, management teams and strategy will be put under the microscope by a particularly terrifying panel of judges. Would you want Theo Paphitis, Dragon and chairman of Ryman sifting through your projections? What about letting King of Shaves entrepreneur Will King delve into your outgoings? While John Caudwell, who sold Phones4U for a whopping £1.24bn, will want to know all about your exit plans.
For three categories, Entrepreneur of the Year, Young Entrepreneur and Young Company, the founders will have to appear before our illustrious judges and fight for their right to ascend the podium at the Growing Business Awards and accept their trophy. The bloody battle will take place on the 11th October and Real Business will be there to witness the carnage – and bring you the highlights.
This will be better than WWE.
