Judges and shortlisted candidates for the Growing Business Awards gathered at Coutts’ lavish offices in London this week for judging day. With just over two weeks to go until the awards ceremony, the excitement ? both from the candidates and the judges ? was palpable. The day was packed: judges had to interview and judge seven categories. Shortlisted candidates were whisked in and out throughout the day to be grilled by the judges. Their strategy, their financials, their goals; questions were asked about everything. A huge thank you goes to our judges: Charles Morgan, Isabel Oswell, Lucy Armstrong, Martin Leuw, Lara Morgan, David Higgins, Rob Wilmott, Stuart Rock, Helen Lovelace, Andrew Haigh, Michael Hayman, Phil Doye, Gerard Burke ? we salute you! The judges’ deliberations were fierce ? picking a winner for each category was a challenge. But the winners were eventually decided. Unfortunately, we’ve been sworn to secrecy so we can’t drop any hints of who the winners are, but we can assure you that this year is the best yet. There are now just over two weeks to go until the November 14 gala ceremony. Have you booked your place yet? It promises to be an epic night, with Enterprise Minister Mark Prisk and BBC business guru Declan Curry hosting the event on the first day of Global Entrepreneurship Week. As the Growing Business Awards is a sell-out event each year, make sure you book your table now!
