Neptune Investment Management is a fund manager founded in 2002 by Robin Geffen. Based in Hammersmith rather than the City, the firm runs a variety of funds focused mainly on equities.

Geffen oversees a strong cast of talent, whose trading performance continues to attract new investors who keep the firm growing at a steady tick. His deputy, Richard Green, says: Across our fund range we offer global portfolios, with no geographic limitations, as well as regional and single country products in both the developed and emerging markets. Regarding our global outlook, as a house we believe that over two thirds of global GDP growth over the next decade will be generated from the emerging markets. Therefore all of our portfolios, be they focused on Africa or Europe, are positioned to benefit from this theme.

Ebidta for the last financial year was £11.6m; Geffen owns 55 per cent.
