Phil Doye started his busines at the age of 21, selling fax rolls, printer cartridges and cables to medium-sized businesses from his flat.
Now Kelway (Doye’s middle name) is a £261m-turnover IT powerhouse with 30 of the FTSE 100 on its customer books. The company has grown through acquisitions: it gobbled up Elcom in 2007 and, most recently, ISC.
And Doye has big ambitions: “This is a work in progress,” he says. We are building a world-class company.
