Elite Telecom?s rise through the ranks of the Hot 100 has been propelled by an acquisition spree.
The business telecoms provider has snapped up a handful of other businesses in recent years, including most recently London-based business GPNS, a specialist provider of telecom services to multi-site businesses. Earlier deals included Shropshire based fixed line and mobile provider Tariff Reduction Services, picked up in October last year, which added ?1.4m to revenues; and a ?700,000 asset purchase from VOIP provider XL Networks.
All of which will add to Elite Telecoms? bid for Hot 100 supremacy in 2013. Turnover reached ?17.3m in its last financial year, up from ?6.7m four years before, while gross profits have risen substantially over the same period, from ?374,000 to ?1.9m.
Expect more of the same, says Matt Newing who founded the business in 2000.
