Chandra Patel, whose father started the business in 1967, says that there is no magic wand to success. We are just a very well managed business.
Much of it comes down to efficient stock management, which is appreciated by the company’s 1500 clients. P&B Foods has recently extended its 80,000 square food distribution centre. We can take an order on Monday and deliver on Tuesday, where competitors will take a week to ten days. Out of 4000 SKUs we have 99 per cent stock availability,” says Patel.
