Softcat’s self-declared aim is simple: ?to be an extension of your IT department?. The company is a reseller, working with customers in the corporate and public sector to address their IT sourcing and software licensing needs.
The company has more than 5,000 customers and employs over 500 staff in three operational centres. Customers include EDF, St John Ambulance, the NHS, London & Country and even Hot 100 company Opus Energy. Current turnover is £219.2m, up from £102.9m four years ago, while pre-tax profits stand at £16.5m.
Softcat prides itself as a good place to work, and was voted 10th in the UK’s Great Place to Work list last year, as well as dozens of other awards.
