The story of John Good & Sons begins in 1813 when the company’s namesake joined the shipping industry aged 11. 

After he resigned, his two sons continued to run the company and developed trade with Finland – leading to the company’s prosperity. It has since been passed down the family.

The company is one of the UK’s largest independent shipping companies and ship agents and provides liner agency, port agency, freight forwarding, RORO shipping, trucking and warehousing services to a range of blue chip companies and SMEs.
