The idea was to put an end to overly complex music contracts and the founders Robert Hurst and Andrew Sunnucks created a music catalogue with that in mind. Launched at a time when the music industry was changing rapidly, Hurst and Sunnucks also created a subscription model that allowed broadcasters and editors to select the music they wanted rather than pay for music they weren’t using.
