Entrepreneurs and other highly skilled workers will have to rack up sufficient points to prove that they will be a benefit to Britain’s economy before they can enter the country to work.
The Australian-style system will crack down on foreigners coming to the UK to find low- or unskilled work, and ensure that only those with adequate skills, experience and earnings will be granted entry into the country.
