Researchers at Cambridge University tested the saliva of male traders and found that their testosterone levels shot up when they made a lot of money, causing them to react faster, act aggressively and make reckless decisions. Women, on the other hand, release a hormone called oxytocin, which causes them to act more cautiously under stress.
We’d like to hear from entrepreneurs – male and female – on whether you think it would have made a smidgen of difference if more women had been at the top.
