IT security: Twitter Q&A with Orla Murphy

1 Mins

From 11:00am tomorrow morning, Real Business and Symantec will be hosting a Twitter Q&A.

The subject? IT security and how SMEs can protect their data. Indeed, recent research highlighted that UK small businesses lack awareness of how vulnerable they are to serious cyberattacks and what impact this could have.

So industry expert Orla Murphy will take the floor for an hour and will be touching on subjects such as:

  • How understanding the risks of cyber security can help reduce costs;
  • What the common SME errors are;
  • What policies can be put in; and
  • Why SMEs aren’t exempt from cyber crime due to their size.

You can ask questions by tweeting on the @Real_Business Twitter account or by sending your questions ahead to shane.schutte@realbusiness.co.uk.

Remember that by tweeting about your greatest IT security worries you could win a Norton Small Business subscription for one year covering five devices – with a retail value of £79.99.
